República Dominicana. – Horas después de que el presidente, Luis Abinader, anunciara de manera sorpresiva que optaría por un segundo mandato, las reacciones de la clase política dominicana no se hicieron esperar.
Tal es el caso del dirigente del Partido Revolucionario Moderno (PRM), Ramón Alburquerque, quien le sugirió al mandatario tomar licencia de su cargo tras el anuncio para que se «compita en un ambiente de igualdad» en el partido y en cumplimiento de la Ley 33-18, de Partidos, Agrupaciones y Movimientos Políticos.
Alburquerque demás indicó, que no es una sorpresa que Abinader hiciera público su intención de ir por otro periodo presidencial para los comicios de 2024, pero planteó que usó un mal escenario.
De su lado, el candidato presidencial por el Partido de la Liberación Dominicana (PLD), Abel Martínez, aseguró que en el 2024 será él (Luis Abinader) quien recibirá la «pela y el castigo por gobernar malo».
«Hemos recibido una gran noticia y es que Abinader se va a repostular, pues qué bueno, porque a él le daremos la pela en el 2024 por gobernar malo, por subir la comida, por subir los combustibles, por hacer colapsar el sistema de salud, por deteriorar los servicios públicos, porque volvieron los apagones, porque el sistema educativo está en su peor momento, (…)», expresó Martínez.
Siguiendo esa misma línea, el senador de Elías Piña y miembro del Comité Político del Partido de la Liberación Dominicana (PLD), Yván Lorenzo, dijo que el mandatario debe prepararse para perder las próximas elecciones presidenciales a causa de la victoria del candidato presidencial por el PLD, Abel Martínez.
“Que se prepare el presidente Abinader para recibir una derrota contundente del compañero Abel Martínez, quien será el candidato del Partido de la Liberación Dominicana”, afirmó el funcionario.
La Dirección Política del partido Fuerza del Pueblo (FP) se reunirá este lunes para analizar la razón del cambio de fecha del mandatario Luis Abinader para anunciar que optará por la reelección presidencial, dijo el secretario de Comunicaciones de la organización, Omar Liriano.
El presidente Luis Abinader anunció a través de un video que compartió en sus redes sociales la tarde de este domingo, su disposición de «participar en las elecciones internas del Partido Revolucionario Moderno para ser su candidato a la presidencia de la República en las elecciones del 2024».
