República Dominicana. – Leonel Fernández, líder de la oposición política dominicana, alertó este lunes sobre la situación de inseguridad que se vive en este país.
«La inseguridad les quita la tranquilidad a las familias dominicanas. El miedo a perder la vida o ser objeto de asalto resulta traumático y desgarrador», señaló Leonel Fernández en un video colgado en sus redes sociales.
Indicó que el miedo limita la prosperidad del pueblo. «Los jóvenes me cuentan cómo les roban sus teléfonos en las calles. Muchos de ellos lo obtuvieron a través de un cambiazo con la compañía telefónica. Las madres también me hablan del temor que tienen por sus hijos. Un país donde el pueblo vive con miedo nunca será próspero», especificó el aspirante presidencial de la Fuerza del Pueblo.
«Para comenzar a revertir la situación actual y generar mayor seguridad, se deben acabar las excusas y comenzar con acciones concretas», siguió diciendo.
Ante la situación de inseguridad, el también presidente de la Fuerza del Pueblo recomendó:
1.Utilizar la tecnología para prevenir el delito. Conocer cuáles son las áreas con más problemas y reforzar la presencia de las fuerzas de seguridad.
2. Implementar más planes de educación, capacitación, empleo y apoyo a los jóvenes emprendedores en todos los barrios. Abrir puertas a las oportunidades para cerrar puertas a la delincuencia.
3.Nuevo sistema de política carcelaria. Con obligación de capacitación y trabajo para los internos. Las cárceles no pueden ser lugares desde donde se producen delitos y engaños.
