Este sábado las Fuerzas de Defensa de Israel han publicado en su cuenta de Twitter imágenes del enorme incendio desatado en la ciudad de Asdod por cohetes de Hamás.
«Se están disparando sin cesar descargas de cohetes desde Gaza hacia el sur de Israel», denunciaron las FDI, al tiempo que precisaron que uno de los proyectiles «golpeó la ciudad de Asdod» la noche del viernes.
«Vea el daño usted mismo», señaló el Ejército, recalcando que «esto no quedará sin respuesta».
El fuego se registró en una fábrica en el puerto de la ciudad. No se informa de heridos a causa del incidente, según The Jerusalem Post.
Otras imágenes que circulan por las redes también muestran el incendio, así como el momento en que el impacto de un cohete deja sin energía parte de la ciudad.
El ala militar de Hamás, la Brigada Al-Qassam, informó previamente del bombardeo de las ciudades israelíes de Beersheba y Asdod en respuesta a un ataque aéreo israelí contra el campamento de refugiados de Shati en Gaza, que, supuestamente, dejó varios muertos y heridos.
