El mandatario dominicano, Luis Abinader, informó hoy que el Gabinete de Salud se reunirá en la tarde de este lunes con varias sociedades médicas para discutir la aplicación de una tercera dosis de la vacuna contra el Covid-19.
El mandatario aseguró que se trató de una recomendación del Gabinete de Salud y que ya otros países han asumido la práctica.
Aclaró que no se obligará a nadie a colocarse la vacuna ya que es inconstitucional pero que de lo que sí hay seguridad, es de que las vacunas no hacen daño, si no mucho bien.
«Desde el punto de vista social y económico lo más costoso para una sociedad es tenerla cerrada, no vamos a escatimar esfuerzos para salvar vidas», dijo el mandatario.
