Los medios locales informaron este miércoles que la incidencia por covid-19 en España ha aumentado en más de 25 puntos en un solo día, con 252 casos por cada 100.000 habitantes, lo que sitúa al país ibérico de nuevo en fase de riesgo extremo por la pandemia.
La cifra más alarmante se registra en Cataluña, sigue aumentando entre el sector de población más joven. De hecho, la incidencia entre personas de entre 20 y 29 años ha aumentado en más de cien puntos, con 814 casos.
Las autoridades sanitarias anunciaron esta jornada que en las últimas 24 horas se han registrado 17 fallecidos y 17.384 infectados con la nueva enfermedad, por lo que la cifra de víctimas mortales desde el inicio de la emergencia sanitaria asciende a 80.969, mientras que la de casos roza los 3,9 millones.
También, detalló que en la actualidad España tiene un total de 2.829 pacientes hospitalizados por coronavirus, de los que 598 se encuentran ingresados en la unidad de cuidados intensivos (UCI).
