Estados Unidos anunció el lunes que levantará en noviembre las restricciones de ingreso al país por la pandemia de covid a todos aquellos que estén vacunados y se sometan a pruebas y rastreo de contactos, informó, Jeffrey Zients, coordinador de respuesta al coronavirus del Gobierno del presidente Joe Biden.
Zients dijo a la prensa que la medida entrará en vigor a «principios de noviembre».
La flexibilización de las restricciones de viaje, impuestas hace 18 meses por Donald Trump cuando estalló la pandemia de coronavirus, marca un cambio significativo por parte de Biden y responde a una importante demanda de los aliados europeos en un momento de tensas relaciones diplomáticas.
