La Corte de Apelación del Distrito Nacional desestimó el recurso de apelación interpuesto por Gabriel Villanueva, quien buscaba la variación de su condena de 20 años de prisión por el homicidio de Andreea Celea, en agosto de 2018.
La información fue ofrecida por Cezara Voicila, hermana de Andreea Celea a través de su cuenta de Instagram.
“La corte desestimó el recurso de apelación y por lo tanto se confirma la sentencia de 20 años de Gabriel Villanueva como firme y permanente. Sól queda mantenerse vigilante por siempre…”, escribió junto a una imagen de Andreea.
El pasado mes de marzo, tras dos años de juicio Gabriel Villanueva fue condenado a 20 años de prisión y al pago de 5 millones de pesos, tras ser encontrado culpable de asesinar a Celea, quien fue lanzado del octavo piso de un hotel de Santo Domingo.
El Tribunal determinó que la víctima falleció por precipitación por impulso, que no pudo ser autoimpulso, por agente externo, siendo el único presente en la habitación Gabriel Villanueva.
