El ejército de EEUU ejecutó un ataque aéreo en el noroeste de Siria que mató a Abdul Hamid al-Matar, uno de los líderes del grupo terrorista Al-Qaeda (proscrito en Rusia), informó el portavoz del Comando Central, John Rigsbee, en un comunicado.
«Un ataque aéreo realizado hoy (viernes) por EEUU en el noroeste de Siria mató a uno de los líderes de Al-Qaeda, Abdul Hamid al-Matar», dijo el militar.
