Dos hombres mataron a un capitán, encargado de la Dirección Central de Investigaciones (Dicrim) en la zona, cuando éste se detuvo averiguar lo que ocurría en el momento en el que los individuos tenían retenido a un minibús.
Los hombres se hacían pasar por policías y tenían montado un retén en Piedra Blanca, en la provincia Monseñor Nouel.
En el incidente también fue herido mortalmente un hombre que viajaba en el minibús. El capitán ultimado es Juan Abreu Rosario , mientras que el civil que falleció también por heridas de balas es Vanderluis de la Cruz Santiago.
La Policía peina en estos momentos todo el municipio de Piedra Blanca y el distrito municipal de Juan Adrián en busca de los dos hombres que estaban vestidos con ropas similar a la de la Policía.
Según las informaciones preliminares, los dos hombres viajan en una motocicleta ZG negra. En el tramo carretero de Piedra Blanca con Juan Adrian fueron recogidos ocho casquillos 9 milímetros.
