El naufragio de una embarcación clandestina en aguas del noroeste de Colombia, que se dirigía hacia Panamá, dejó tres migrantes muertos y un bebé desaparecido, informó la Defensoría del Pueblo (Ombudsman).
«Hasta el momento, la comunidad ha informado que se han rescatado 3 cuerpos de personas que fallecieron ahogadas y aún no se tiene un número exacto de las personas que han sido rescatadas con vida», dijo esa entidad en un comunicado.
La lancha salió en la madrugada del lunes desde el municipio de Necoclí (noroeste), donde están represados más de 20.000 migrantes. Se dirigía hacia Acandí, municipio colombiano en la frontera con Panamá, para de allí pasar al archipiélago de San Blas, en el país vecino, de acuerdo con el texto.
«También se nos ha informado que, lamentablemente, un menor de ocho meses estaría desaparecido», informó.
