El derrumbe de un puente este viernes sobre un gasoducto en Pittsburgh (Pensilvania, EE.UU.) ha dejado 10 heridos, afectando a 3 o 4 vehículos.
Las autoridades de Pittsburgh instaron a las personas a mantenerse alejadas del área debido a un «fuerte olor a gas natural». Asimismo, el organismo de seguridad pública informó que tres heridos fueron trasladados a un hospital, aunque presentan lesiones que «no suponen un peligro para su vida». Actualmente, se revisa que no haya víctimas debajo de la estructura derrumbada. Las causas del colapso aún no se han dado a conocer.
El accidente se produce tan solo unas horas antes de la visita programada del presidente del país, Joe Biden, quien tenía planeado visitar la ciudad para hablar sobre infraestructuras.
