Las fundaciones Ayuda Humanitaria Fe y Esperanza, de la República Dominicana y Cambiando el Mundo de Personas con Discapacidad, de Boston, Estados Unidos, firmaron este sábado un acuerdo de corporación humanitaria enfocada en llevar ayuda a personas vulnerables y con algún tipo de facultad motora.
Raquel Quezada, quien mediante su Fundación Cambiando el Mundo de Personas con Discapacidad, ha estado colaborando con el país, se ha unido a Amaury Félix para a través de Ayuda Humanitaria Fe y Esperanza, poder aportar más recursos por entender que “en la unión está la fuerza”.
“A través de esta alianza podremos cubrir cualquier necesidad que tengan aquí. Yo sé que es difícil porque aquí, en la República Dominicana muchas veces los recursos no llegan”, aseguró Quezada, quien también es embajadora de las Olimpiadas Especiales.
De su lado, Félix, presidente de la Fundación Ayuda Humanitaria Fe y Esperanza hizo un llamado a las autoridades gubernamentales y a los empresarios para que se unan al esfuerzo que realiza junto a 40 jóvenes sancarleños en beneficio de la sociedad.
Durante el evento fueron reconocidas varias personalidades destacadas del sector, incluyendo a Quezada y a Ramón de la Cruz, cónsul general de la República Dominicana en Boston, entre otros.
Félix explicó que reconoce a ese grupo de personas por la gran labor que ha desempeñado por las comunidades tanto a nivel nacional como internacional.
