El aspirante presidencial por el Partido de la Liberación Dominicana (PLD), Abel Martínez, expresó que el actual Gobierno no conforme con el descalabro al que ha llevado los servicios básicos que se brindan a la población, ahora se dedica a vender alimentos que en los gobiernos del PLD llegaban de forma gratuita a las casas de las franjas más vulnerables.
Tras recordar lo mucho que el PRM desde la oposición criticó la entrega de millones de raciones de alimentos crudos que mensualmente desde el Plan Social se llevaban casa por casa sin distinción a las zonas de mayor pobreza en todo el país.
“Ahora resulta que en este Gobierno son tan abusadores, que las raciones de alimentos que antes eran gratuitas, ahora las venden a mil pesos y los combos que se entregaban para que los pobres pudieran disfrutar en familia de las habichuelas con dulces que marcan la tradicional época de la Semana Santa, también se están vendiendo a RD$350.00. Se les olvida que si el pueblo no tiene con qué comprar medicamentos, tampoco tiene para comprar lo que antes tenían garantizado en materia de alimentación”, señaló el actual alcalde de Santiago.
Abel recorrió los sectores de Los Ríos, Cristo Rey, Arroyo Hondo, Los Ramírez, Las Flores, La Cementera y Puerto Isabela, entre otros de la circunscripción 2 del Distrito Nacional, en donde aseguró que trabaja sin descanso para ser el candidato del PLD y poder enderezar el rumbo del país a partir del 2024.
