Una persona murió y otras 16 resultaron heridas al volcar un autobús en una carretera del sur del departamento colombiano de Cesar (noreste), informaron medios locales.
«Un bus de la empresa Brasilia sufrió un fuerte accidente de tránsito en el sur del Cesar y el conductor falleció. El siniestro se presentó en la vía que comunica a Bucaramanga con Aguachica. En el vehículo viajaban 32 pasajeros, 16 de ellos resultaron heridos y cuatro son menores de edad», según un reporte de Bluradio que cita a autoridades.
Por causas que aún se investigan, el vehículo volcó y tras deslizarse varios metros quedó atravesado en la carretera, dice el reporte.
Los heridos fueron trasladados a hospitales de las localidades cercanas de San Alberto y Aguachica.
Luego de un cierre de tres horas por el accidente, el tramo de la carretera entre La Mata y San Alberto fue habilitado, informó el servicio 767 del Programa de Seguridad en Carreteras Nacionales en su cuenta de Twitter.
