Un hombre fue asesinado a tiros y otras dos personas resultaron heridas en un tiroteo dentro de una bodega anoche en El Bronx (NYC).
Al parecer el hombre de 31 años tuvo una disputa verbal con el sospechoso, quien le disparó en la cabeza y la parte superior del torso alrededor de las 12:50 a.m., matándolo en la escena, según las autoridades.
Dos personas más recibieron disparos dentro de la tienda ubicada en East Burnside Avenue, cerca de Grand Concourse, aunque al parecer no eran el objetivo del pistolero. Un hombre de 34 años recibió un disparo en el brazo izquierdo y se informó que se encuentra en condición estable. Una mujer de la misma edad fue baleada en el torso y fue hospitalizada en estado crítico.
Ninguna de las tres víctimas ha sido identificada. En cuanto al fallecido, tenía un historial de arrestos y estuvo tras las rejas el mes pasado por agresión doméstica, según NYPD. Una persona de interés fue detenida, pero no se habían presentado cargos hasta esta mañana.
Este último tiroteo ocurrió cuando la ciudad intenta tomar medidas enérgicas contra el crimen. “Esta es nuestra tienda local, un lugar al que venimos y nos reunimos y nunca sucede nada como esto”, dijo a un medio local el residente Armonni Phillips.
Irónicamente, mientras esto sucedía, el alcalde Eric Adams se encontraba en la lujosa gala del MET Museum, donde se presentó luciendo un mensaje “anti Violencia armada” en la espalda de su esmoquin.
