En 1929, se firmó un nuevo convenio fronterizo y de paz entre República Dominicana y Haití. Luego, en 1935, hubo otro acuerdo fronterizo; y en 1936, un protocolo de revisión, donde se establecieron los límites fronterizos definitivos entre ambos países.
