La Confederación de Nacionalidades Indígenas del Ecuador (Conaie), que lleva adelante desde hace dos semanas protestas masivas y un paro nacional en el país, anunció que evaluarán el anuncio del presidente Guillermo Lasso de reducir el precio de los combustibles.
«Haremos una evaluación colectiva, del anuncio hecho por el presidente Guillermo Lasso, con nuestras bases para definir el camino a seguir», anunciaron a través de un comunicado difundido en su cuenta de Twitter.
Sin embargo, advirtieron que la decisión del presidente es «insuficiente, sin garantías» y «no se compadece con la situación de pobreza que afrontan millones de familias».
«El Gobierno siempre ha tenido en sus manos dar respuesta a los 10 puntos de agenda, pero no tiene la voluntad política para dialogar y resolver», añadió la organización.
