El Consejo de Ministros de Italia declaró este lunes el estado de alarma en las regiones norteñas de Emilia-Romaña, Friul-Venecia Julia, Lombardía, Piamonte y Véneto debido a la sequía que se registra en el valle del río Po y Alpes Orientales, tras semanas de calor extremo, informan medios locales.
En total, para luchar contra las secuelas de las condiciones climáticas extremas en las cinco regiones más afectadas por la sequía, descrita por el primer ministro italiano, Mario Draghi, como «la peor de los últimos 70 años», se destinará más de 36 millones de euros.
