Desde las primeras horas de la mañana se observan concentraciones nubosas cargadas de humedad que provocan chubascos locales con tormentas eléctricas hacia las localidades de las regiones noroeste, norte y noreste, inducidos por el paso de una onda tropical por el territorio nacional, además de la interacción de una vaguada que se manifiesta en diferentes niveles de la troposfera. Estos aguaceros con tormentas eléctricas y ocasionales ráfagas de viento se estarán intensificando en horas de la tarde hacia otras localidades del país, especialmente hacia el litoral costero Caribeño, noreste, Valle del Cibao, suroeste, cordillera Central y la zona fronteriza.
