El Ejército y la Fuerza Aérea de México detuvieron en el sur del país una avioneta que transportaba 460,5 kilogramos de una sustancia con características similares a la cocaína.
La detención ocurrió el 13 de agosto en el estado de Campeche. Al detectarse el ingreso ilegal al espacio aéreo mexicano de la avioneta, procedente de Sudamérica, se desplegó un operativo. En las proximidades de la localidad de Miguel Hidalgo, un grupo de individuos esperaba a la aeronave, pero al percatarse de la presencia de personal militar decidió abandonar la carga y la avioneta.
