El ministro de Gobierno (Interior) de Bolivia, Eduardo del Castillo, ha cargado contra el gabinete que acompañó a Evo Morales en sus últimos meses en la presidencia y ha afirmado que es un «cáncer» para el partido gobernante, el Movimiento Al Socialismo (MAS).
Morales y Del Castillo se han cruzado declaraciones en estas últimas semanas, principalmente a cuenta del teléfono móvil del expresidente durante un mitin electoral. El antiguo mandatario ha denunciado una «guerra sucia» contra el MAS.
Del Castillo se ha retrotraído a los meses previos a las elecciones de 2019, que derivaron a su juicio en un «golpe de Estado», para acusar a los ministros de entonces de no hacer «nada» porque se limitaban a velar por sus intereses pese a lo que ya preveían que podía ocurrir.
«Lamentablemente nuestro líder Evo Morales tiene un cáncer, un cáncer que si no se lo trata va a ser terminal y ese cáncer es su exgabinete», ha sentenciado el titular de Interior.
