Líderes de Latinoamérica y África reclamaron este martes a los países ricos más medidas contra la crisis alimentaria, agravada por la guerra en Ucrania y que provoca subidas en los precios de los alimentos.
Esas peticiones se formularon en una reunión sobre seguridad alimentaria en Nueva York, en los márgenes de la Asamblea General de la ONU, y en la que EE.UU., España, Alemania y otros países se comprometieron a actuar para evitar hambrunas.

Al inicio del encuentro, el presidente de turno de la Unión Africana y jefe de estado de Senegal, Macky Sall, habló de la necesidad de encontrar soluciones «duraderas» a la crisis de alimentos y recordó que el problema y ya existía antes de la guerra en Ucrania.
