La Universidad Estatal de San Diego, en California, informó que durante el 2023 impartirá un nuevo curso cuyo fin será estudiar al puertorriqueño Bad Bunny.
El curso universitario se centrará en el impacto del cantante de reggaetón en la cultura latina.
El director asociado de estudios de periodismo y medios de la SDSU, Nathian Shae Rodríguez, será el encargado de impartir el curso e indicó que el artista ha cambiado la industria de la música del reggaetón al desafiar los modos tradicionales de la masculinidad latina.
“Bad Bunny ha transformado al reggaetón como ningún otro artista lo ha hecho. Cuando piensas en el reggaetón, es hipermasculino, machista, está en incrustado en su origen. Y Bad Bunny ha llegado y lo ha puesto de cabeza”, dijo.
Los cursos universitarios que exploran las obras de artistas de música popular y su impacto son cada vez más comunes.
