El Ministerio Público informó ayer que la jueza del Sexto Juzgado de la Instrucción del Distrito Nacional, Yanibet Rivas, fijó para el 28 de octubre el inicio de la audiencia preliminar contra los acusados de los casos de supuesta corrupción Coral y Coral 5G y dispuso la fusión de ambos expedientes.
«La acusación es bastante fuerte y bastante robusta. En palabras del magistrado Wilson Camacho la acusación está blindada», dijo la coordinadora de Litigación de la Procuraduría Especializada de Persecución de la Corrupción Administrativa (Pepca), Mirna Ortiz.
La acusación de la Operación Coral involucra al mayor general Adán Cáceres Silvestre, al coronel Rafael Núñez de Aza así como a Rossy Guzmán Sánchez (La Pastora), y al cabo policial Tanner Antonio Flete Guzmán (hijo de la religiosa).
Asimismo, al sargento de la Armada de República Dominicana Alejandro José Montero Cruz, con medida de coerción de garantía económica de 5 millones de pesos, presentación periódica e impedimento de salida del país, y el mayor del Ejército de República Dominicana Raúl Alejandro Girón Jiménez, quien cumple prisión domiciliaria.
Mientras que por el Caso Coral 5G son procesados los generales Boanerges Reyes Batista, de la Armada, así como Julio Camilo de los Santos Viola y Juan Carlos Torres Robiou, de la Fuerza Aérea de República Dominicana (FARD). También están acusados el capitán de navío Franklin Mata Flores, y José Manuel Rosario Pirón.
Igualmente, Carlos Lantigua, Alfredo Pichardo, Erasmo Roger Pérez, Jehohanan Lucía Rodríguez, Yehudy Blandesmil Guzmán y Esmeralda Ortega Polanco.
