Güíchardo Méndez recibirá la banda como madrina del equipo amarillo en la rueda de prensa que tiene prevista el equipo el lunes 10 de octubre.
Ha predicado con el ejemplo practicando deportes y es una ferviente seguidora del equipo de las Águilas Cibaeñas, conjunto con sede en su natal Santiago de los Caballeros.
Formó parte del equipo de natación las Pirañas de Amaprosan, es anotadora de baloncesto y trabaja con niños y jóvenes del Grupo Scout de la Iglesia San José, del barrio Baracoa.
La madrina aguilucha es hija de Manuel Güichardo, procurador fiscal adscrito al distrito judicial de La Vega, y de la señora Sobeida Raquel Méndez.
