Dos migrantes murieron y siete más surgieron heridos en un accidente automovilístico en la carretera Berriozábal-Las Choapas, del estado de Chiapas, en la frontera sur de México, según indican autoridades, este miércoles.
El accidente se generó en el kilómetro 8 de dicha carretera en la mañana de hoy, cuando una llamada de auxilio avisó a los cuerpos de emergencia, quienes acudieron con seis ambulancias al lugar de los hechos.
Una falla mecánica y el exceso de velocidad causó que la camioneta color blanco con placas T85BBK de Ciudad de México, tipo suburban, se saliera de la cinta asfáltica, donde algunos de los ocupantes se estrellaron y otros más quedaron prensados por fierros al interior del vehículo.
Protección Civil del Estado de Chiapas anunció en un comunicado sobre la atención a los extranjeros y confirmó el deceso de dos personas, sin embargo, no reveló sus nacionalidades.
