República Dominicana. – La tarde de este jueves la Tercera Sala Penal de Corte de Apelación del Distrito Nacional rechazó la solicitud del Ministerio Público de reenviar a prisión nuevamente a Alexis Medina Sánchez y a otros dos imputados en Operación Antipulpo.
El 29 de agosto del presente año, el juez Delby Timoteo Peguero, del Séptimo Juzgado de la Instrucción del Distrito Nacional, varió la medida de coerción de los imputados, de prisión preventiva a domiciliaria a Medina Sánchez, a Fernando Rosa, José Dolores Santana y Wascal Vernavel Méndez.

Sin embargo, Wascal Vernavel Méndez no estaba incluido en la apelación que hizo el Ministerio Público a la medida.
