El padre de la secretaria general del Ministerio de Justicia de Colombia fue secuestrado en el departamento del Meta, en el centro del país.
Hasta el momento, se desconoce quiénes habrían sido los autores del secuestro de Vicente Ortiz Álvarez, progenitor de Helen Ortiz, ocurrido en el municipio de Granada, en la mencionada entidad colombiana, el pasado martes.

La Defensoría del Pueblo manifestó en un trino su rechazo y escribió que está atenta «al avance de las investigaciones» y que se ofrece como mediadora para el «retorno sano y salvo» de Ortiz Álvarez.
En la zona se realiza un operativo policial y militar para hallar al padre de la funcionaria, según El Universal.
