«Este doble golpe duro es serio, pero todavía reversible», indica la exjugadora de 66 años, citada por la WTA.

«Espero una salida favorable. Voy a luchar con todo lo que tengo», afirma la que fuera número uno mundial, que ganó 59 títulos del Grand Slam (entre individuales, dobles y dobles mixtos), que ya había superado un cáncer de seno que tuvo en 2010.
