República Dominicana. – La Asociación Nacional de Profesionales Agropecuarios (ANPA) denunció que el ministro de Agricultura, Limber Cruz, ha decidido tomar el control del gremio y entregárselo al director regional de Higüey, Fausto Elias Tejeda.
Una comisión de la ANPA encabezada por su presidente, Danilo Severino, junto a Radhames Tejeda, secretario de Educación del CEN y Ramón Alvarado, presidente de la delegación del Distrito aclararon que el gremio no ha convocado a elecciones, llamaron a los profesionales del área a que no se dejen confundir.
El ANPA realiza elecciones cada dos años. Las próximas elecciones estaban pautadas para octubre de 2022 pero no fueron posible porque no se pudo sacar una comisión especial debido a las interferencias del ministro de Agricultura, de acuerdo a declaraciones de representantes del gremio.
Aseguraron además que la convocatoria a elecciones para este martes es una «farsa».
