La tasa interanual del índice de precios al consumo (IPC) ha subido una décima en enero, hasta el 5,8 %, tras la retirada de la bonificación general al precio de los carburantes y pese a la bajada del IVA de algunos alimentos.
Según el dato adelantado este lunes por el Instituto Nacional de Estadística (INE), la inflación subyacente, sin alimentos no elaborados ni productos energéticos, ha escalado medio punto hasta el 7,5 %, la cifra más elevada desde diciembre de 1986.
El repunte de la tasa anual de inflación de enero rompe cinco meses de moderación en la evolución de la subida de los precios tras el pico del 10,8 % alcanzado en julio.
El INE vincula esta subida de la inflación en enero al alza de los carburantes, superior a la de enero de 2022, y a que el descenso de los precios del vestido y el calzado ha sido menor que en el año pasado.
