El Banco Central de la República Dominicana (BCRD) detalló en su último informe que la economía del país creció un 4.9% en 2022.
“El producto interno bruto (PIB) real registró un crecimiento de 4.9 % en 2022, luego de que el indicador mensual de actividad económica (IMAE) experimentara una variación interanual de 3.3 % en el mes de diciembre, en línea con las últimas proyecciones de esta institución”, explica el Banco Central a través de un comunicado.
Detalla que los resultados de la economía dominicana durante el pasado año pudieron ser alcanzados a pesar de la desafiante coyuntura a nivel global.
En este tenor, el BCRD indica que la economía mundial durante 2022 se vio afectada por el impacto significativo de dos choques sucesivos, siendo el primero los efectos rezagados de la pandemia del COVID-19 y el segundo la invasión de Rusia a Ucrania.
