El Ministerio de Asuntos Exteriores de Canadá declaró este viernes su decisión de establecer nuevas sanciones contra Rusia por su operativo militar en Ucrania. A la lista de afectados fueron añadidas 38 personas y 16 entidades que, según Ottawa, están vinculadas a la «desinformación y propaganda» de Moscú.
En el listado se hallan varios periodistas, incluyendo entre otros a Serguéi Brilev, presentador de la compañía mediática VGTRK, y Evgueni Poddubny, corresponsal de guerra de ese conglomerado. Asimismo, el Gobierno canadiense sancionó al grupo mediático Rossiya Segodnya, a la agencia RIA Novosti y otros medios rusos.
Bajo las restricciones están ahora además varios artistas y cantantes rusos, como Mijaíl Galustyán, Victoria Daineko, Dmitri Dyuzhev, Nikolái Báskov, Dima Bilán, Nikolái Rastorgúev y Mijaíl Boyarskiy, así como el diputado de la Duma Estatal (Cámara baja del Parlamento ruso) Alexánder Jinstein, entre otros.
