El Gobierno de Cuba envió este sábado a Turquía una brigada médica de 32 colaboradores cubanos pertenecientes al Contingente Henry Reeve para asistir a las víctimas afectadas por los devastadores terremotos ocurridos el lunes, anunció el Ministerio de Salud del país caribeño.
De acuerdo a los últimos datos, el número de muertos en Turquía asciende a 24.617, mientras que los heridos ya se cifran en 80.080. Un total de 31.832 rescatistas locales se encuentran trabajando en la región junto a 8.294 voluntarios extranjeros. Mientras tanto, en Siria, la cifra de víctimas alcanza los 1.387 muertos y 2.326 heridos.
