Corea del Norte amenazó este viernes con una respuesta «sin precedentes» a los próximos ejercicios militares conjuntos de Estados Unidos y Corea del Sur, que considera «preparativos para una guerra”.
La advertencia se produjo antes de una reunión técnica prevista la próxima semana en Washington, en la que los dos aliados discutirán posibles respuestas al uso de armas nucleares por parte del Corea del Norte.
El régimen de Pyongyang condena desde hace tiempo los ejercicios militares conjuntos de Estados Unidos y Corea del Sur. Son «preparativos para una guerra de agresión», indica un comunicado del Ministerio de Relaciones Exteriores norcoreano este viernes.
Si Washington y Seúl siguen adelante con los ejercicios, «se enfrentarán a contraataques persistentes y enérgicos sin precedentes», agrega el texto.
