El exgobernador venezolano Enrique Mendoza murió este lunes, de acuerdo a los reportes en redes sociales de varios políticos del país suramericano.
El reconocido político fue concejal, dos veces alcalde del municipio Sucre, tres veces gobernador de Miranda y diputado.
También, Mendoza fue un férreo opositor al también fallecido presidente Hugo Chávez y es recordado por ordenar la salida del aire del canal estatal Venezolana de Televisión (VTV), durante el golpe de Estado de 2002 contra el líder bolivariano.
En sus cuentas de Twitter, han expresado sus condolencias varias figuras políticas venezolanas, como el exgobernador de Miranda, Henrique Capriles; la excandidata presidencial, María Corina Machado; y el exdiputado Henry Ramos Allup, entre otros.
