República Dominicana.- Jeffrey Infante formalizó su precandidatura para optar convertirse en el candidato oficial del Partido de la Liberación Dominicana (PLD) a la Alcaldía de Santiago. Dicha inscripción la hizo desde el Hospital Metropolitano de Santiago (HOMS), donde se encuentra convaleciente, parte de la dirección política se trasladó al centro hospitalario para realizar su inscripción.
“Uno propone y Dios dispone, lo que se suponía sería un multitudinario evento, mi inscripción como precandidato a Alcalde por Santiago, resultó siendo algo muy diferente. Aún así, agradezco al Todopoderoso, a mi familia y equipo por estar presente y acompañarme en este significativo momento”, expresó Jeffrey.
El también miembro del Comité Central del PLD expresó: “Saldré pronto de mi convalecencia y a partir de la semana que viene volvemos a las calles, con más fe, con más fuerzas y energías para seguir conquistando voluntades y juntos, seguir construyendo el mejor Santiago posible”, puntualizó.
Jeffrey Infante es ingeniero civil, miembro del Comité Central y secretario de Asuntos Empresariales del PLD. Como parte de su experiencia en el sector público, fue director regional del Ministerio de Obras Públicas y Comunicaciones, cargo que le permitió dirigir proyectos y obras importantes relacionadas con el sector de la construcción.
