La apertura de los Premios Juventud 2023, que se celebrará este jueves en Puerto Rico, arrancará con una dedicatoria al reguetón por parte de Daddy Yankee, uno de los pioneros del género, y del dúo de productores musicales Luny Tunes.
El arranque musical, que contará con la participación de más de una docena de artistas del género urbano en el escenario en el Coliseo de Puerto Rico, en San Juan, «celebrará la explosión que ha tenido el reggaetón entre los jóvenes a nivel mundial», resaltó la producción del evento este martes en un comunicado de prensa.
Daddy Yankee, autodenominado «El jefe» del reguetón, aportó su trabajo musical en la apertura en su nueva faceta como empresario y productor.
El también conocido como «El Big Boss» es el máximo ganador de Premios Juventud con 23 galardones, incluyendo un reconocimiento como «Agente de Cambio» en 2021.
Este año, dicho reconocimiento se le dará a la artista colombiana Shakira.
El reconocimiento valora la extensa labor de la artista en transformar comunidades a través de su Fundación Pies Descalzos.
