Este lunes el presidente ruso, Vladímir Putin, ha firmado una ley para introducir el rublo digital y crear la correspondiente plataforma electrónica.
Se trata de una forma adicional de la moneda nacional rusa que se emitirá junto con las formas de dinero existentes; es decir, el rublo tendrá ahora tres formas: efectivo, no efectivo y digital.

La ley, que entra en vigor el 1 de agosto, establece, con excepción de una serie de disposiciones, los conceptos básicos necesarios para la introducción del rublo digital, incluyendo la definición de su estatuto jurídico y las transacciones con la moneda.
Todas las transacciones con el rublo digital se realizarán a través de una plataforma especial operada por el Banco Central de Rusia.
