Guatemala. Benoit María activista francés de Derechos Humanos que trabajaba con comunidades indígenas en Guatemala, fue asesinado a tiros. Benoit tenía más de 20 años trabajando una ONG y comunidades indígenas, defendiendo los derechos campesinos. El gobierno francés exigió a las autoridades de Guatemala que este crimen no quedé impune.
