El incremento en el precio de algunos productos de la canasta básica genera quejas por parte de los consumidores, quienes aseguran que esto no se aguanta.
«El precio los precios de la canasta familiar están que no se aguantan esto es completamente un desfilfarro. Aquí usted hoy va y compra la cosa a un precio y mañana a otro porque no hay un control», dijo un padre de familia que se gana la vida colo motorista.
«Antes yo en mi casa dejaba RD$200 y hoy en día tengo que dejar RD$500 porque esto está que no se aguanta. Y eso era lo que la gente quería. El cambio y el cambio tenemos», agregó.
Ciudadanos entrevistandos en el mercado de Pintura en el municipio Santo Domingo Oeste, consideran que la situación está para guapos y dijeron no saber cómo manejarlo.
«La situación está para guapos, con lo que tú comprabas con $1000 ya tú tienes que disponer de 2000 ó 2000 y pico», dijo una ama de casa que pidió el anonimato. .
«Oye todo está demasiado caro. No sé cómo es que vamos a hacer con el dinero, no sabemos cómo manejar esto de verdad», puntualizó.
Cabe recordar que el Banco Central de la República Dominicana (BCRD) informó el pasado jueves que el Índice de Precios al Consumidor (IPC) registró una variación mensual de 0.22 % en junio de 2023.
Con ese resultado, el BCRD explicó que la inflación interanual, medida desde junio de 2022 hasta junio de 2023, disminuyó a 4.00 %, siendo la tasa más baja verificada desde julio de 2020. De esta manera, la inflación se ubica en el centro del rango meta de 4.0 %±1.0 % establecido en el Programa Monetario.
El índice de precios del grupo Alimentos y Bebidas No Alcohólicas creció 0.69 % en el mes de junio de 2023, debido principalmente a los aumentos de precios observados en algunos artículos de alta ponderación en la canasta familiar como pollo fresco (0.81 %), tomates (16.57 %), ajo (14.44 %), cebollas (6.84 %), café (3.10 %), plátanos verdes (1.61 %), arroz (0.63 %), entre otros, informó el Banco Central en un informe.
