La operación militar de Rusia en Ucrania empezó la cual empezó madrugada del jueves, y según la Cancillería brasileña en el país habría cerca de 500 ciudadanos brasileños.
El Gobierno estudia implementar un plan de evacuación por vía terrestre, pero aún no hay una fecha ni puntos de encuentro definidos.
La Cancillería, esta en un plan de rescate, Brasil enviaría personas y equipamientos a Ucrania para ayudar a retirar a los brasileños, mientras que en el caso de un plan de evacuación no se envían fuerzas desde Brasil y se hace con los medios allí disponibles.
De momento, la directriz oficial del Gobierno brasileño es que los ciudadanos que estén en la zona este del país de desplacen a Kiev, y que los que estén en la capital permanezcan en casa hasta que haya nuevas orientaciones.
Así se resalta que las embajadas brasileñas en otros países están de guardia para dar asistencia a los brasileños que salgan de Ucrania por su cuenta, las de Varsovia, Minsk, Bratislava y Moscú.
