Uno de esos establecimientos es Bitcoin Embassy Bar, en la capital mexicana, que desde hace 3 años ofrece a su clientela una experiencia llena de tecnología. Cuando llega la cuenta, sus usuarios reciben un ticket donde se refleja la suma en pesos mexicanos, que puede pagarse de manera tradicional o con bitcoines.
«El sistema que nosotros tenemos instalado en el punto de venta se llama BTCP, este es un sistema que cualquier persona puede utilizar en el mundo. Esto lo que hace básicamente es ligarse una cartera fría o alguna cartera en sí de cualquier criptomoneda, y entonces genera un código QR a partir de algo que se llama llave privada para que el cliente pueda escanearlo con su cartera al celular y entonces en automático también le manda la cantidad de bitcóin o de criptomonedas», explicó Lorena Ortiz, socia fundadora de ese bar.
