Este viernes fueron liberados los 16 trabajadores de la Secretaría de Seguridad Pública del estado de Chiapas, México, que habían sido secuestrados por un grupo armado.
Los funcionarios descendieron de una camioneta a unos 300 metros de una sede del SSPC y fueron reunidos con sus familiares, quienes al verlos corrieron a abrazarlos.

El gobernador de Chiapas, Rutilio Escandón, confirmó la liberación de los funcionarios y agradeció la colaboración del presidente, Andrés Manuel López Obrador, así como del Ejército, la Marina, la Guardia Nacional, las Fiscalías y Policías Estatales.
