La empresa de entretenimiento Netflix ha decidido incursionar en el mundo de la gastronomía y notificó la apertura de Netflix Bites, un restaurante emergente en donde los comensales probarán platillos y bebidas preparados por los protagonistas de las populares series culinarias de la plataforma de ‘streaming’.
El establecimiento abrirá sus puertas al público el 30 junio y estará situado, por tiempo limitado, en Los Ángeles, la misma ciudad donde la compañía de Reed Hastings abrió el año pasado su tienda emergente Netflix at The Grove.
«Netflix ya es un destino para la programación gastronómica más querida, desde documentales hasta programas de competencia», resaltó el vicepresidente de productos de consumo de Netflix, Josh Simon.
En ese sentido, mencionó que con la puesta en marcha de su restaurante están «creando una experiencia en persona donde los fanáticos pueden sumergirse en sus programas de comida favoritos». «Estamos entusiasmados de colaborar con estos increíbles chefs que darán vida a esta visión y mostrarán varios de sus deliciosos menús», indicó Simon.
