La Oficina para el Reordenamiento del Transporte (opret) informó que el servicio del Metro de Santo Domingo estará disponible este martes hasta las 8:00 de la noche y mañana miércoles de 7:00 de la mañana hasta las 8:00 de la noche.
En un comunicado dado a conocer esta tarde, la entidad informa que la medida se toma como prevención ante el paso de la tormenta tropical Franklin. Aclaró que el servicio se ofrecerá en ese tiempo siempre y cuando las condiciones climáticas lo permitan.
Una vez sea reanudado el horario de servicio habitual, se confirmará de manera inmediata las nuevas decisiones.
Reiteramos que el servicio en la línea 1 del Teleférico de Santo Domingo se encuentra suspendido hasta nuevo aviso.
“Recordamos que las operaciones del Metro requieren la movilidad de cientos de personas y estas medidas son parte de los esfuerzos para garantizar la seguridad de nuestros colaboradores”
