Decenas de privadas de libertad murieron este martes apedreadas, quemadas, apuñaladas y tiroteadas tras una trágica reyerta en la Penitenciaría Nacional Femenina de Adaptación Social (PNFAS), en Támara, Francisco Morazán.
En redes sociales circulan imágenes que son demasiado sangrientas y devastadoras. El oficial de comunicaciones del Ministerio Público, Yuri Mora, confirmó que son alrededor de 41 reclusas muertas, de diferentes maneras.
“Inicialmente se nos había proporcionado el número de 25, nos dijeron que era un número preliminar, ahorita los equipos de Medicina Forense que se encuentran haciendo los levantamientos respectivos de las personas que fallecieron nos están dando otra cifra que es preliminar porque no se ha terminado con los levantamientos cadavéricos y nos hablan de 41 personas fallecidas por el momento”, indicó.
Mora señaló que el número de féminas muertas podría aumentar en las próximas horas. Además, dejó saber que la mayoría de los decesos fueron producidos con armas de fuego, pero alrededor de 25 reclusas murieron calcinadas.
