Un niño de 10 años murió y dos personas resultaron heridas en un tiroteo desde un vehículo en marcha en el sector El Cambronal, en la parte baja de Santiago de los Caballeros.
La víctima mortal fue identificada como Kerventz Derosier, quien recibió disparos en una mano y en el abdomen. Un adolescente de 16 años resultó herido en el pie izquierdo y está ingresado en el hospital infantil regional universitario Arturo Grullón, de Santiago. El adulto herido está hospitalizado en el hospital regional universitario José María Cabral y Báez de Santiago.
Los pistoleros dispararon contra los integrantes de un supuesto punto de venta de drogas que opera en el lugar por donde los tres lesionados se desplazaban caminando al momento del ataque. El reporte preliminar establece que los heridos no tenían nada que ver con el incidente, informó la Policía Nacional.
Los investigadores de la institución trabajan en la identificación de los pistoleros para su apresamiento y posterior sometimiento a la acción de la justicia, de acuerdo al portavoz de la Dirección Regional Cibao Central de la Policía Nacional, capitán Fernando Pérez Valerio.
