El director general del Departamento de Asuntos de EE.UU. de la Cancillería norcoreana, Kwon Jong-gun, señaló este domingo que los suministros de tanques estadounidenses a Ucrania representan un «crimen antiético para prolongar la inestable situación internacional».
«Desestimando la justa preocupación y censura de la sociedad internacional, EE.UU. pretende introducir a toda costa sus tanques principales y otros armamentos de ataque», afirmó Kwon. Agregó que «si EE.UU. no hubiera impulsado gradualmente el avance al Oriente de la OTAN, violando los legítimos intereses de seguridad de Rusia, no se habría producido el actual incidente de Ucrania».
Además, el diplomático calificó de «infundado» y «necio intento de justificar el suministro de sus armamentos a Ucrania» el rumor difunido por Washington sobre supuesta venta de armas norcoreanas a Rusia. «EE.UU. deberá tener presente que tendrá un resultado realmente desagradable si sigue molestando a la RPDC difundiendo de continuo el rumor que se ha inventado», concluyó Kwon.
