República Dominicana. – El Partido Revolucionario Moderno (PRM) recaudó más de RD$115 millones en la recepción de solicitudes de precandidaturas a los distintos puestos electivos de cara a las elecciones del 2024, informó este lunes el coordinador de la Comisión Nacional de Elecciones Internas de esa organización, Deligne Ascensión.
Durante una rueda de prensa, Ascención señaló que algunas personas depositaron dinero de más de lo que estaba solicitado por el partido de gobierno, recursos que serán devueltos en los próximos días, y otros depositaron menos de lo acordado, lo que atribuyó a confusión. Aunque el monto no es oficial, dijo que en los próximos días detallarán con más precisión lo recaudado.
Unas 4,692 personas hicieron la solicitud en la jornada de inscripciones que se llevó a cabo el pasado fin de semana, según indicó el dirigente político, quien además agregó que en lo adelante, depurarán los documentos para determinar si estarán aptos para las precandidaturas.
Detalló que unas 300 personas no pudieron inscribirse por fallas en el sistema, pero que en el transcurso del día de mañana estarán siendo añadidas para rondar las casi 4,700 inscritos en solicitudes de precandidaturas.
El también secretario general de organización del PRM dijo que en relación a los precandidatos que pudieran tener algún cuestionamiento, la comisión se va a ceñir a lo que fue el reglamento con los requisitos que se exigieron y los que hayan cumplido con los mismos serán admitidos.
“En la depuración que se haga la comisión se va a ceñir a los que fue el reglamento con los requisitos que se exigieron, cualquier ciudadano que cumpla con los requisitos serán admitidos, y los que no cumplan no serán admitidos”, señaló Ascención.
En las senadurías, en las 23 plazas libres de reservas que tiene el PRM, 63 personas se inscribieron para competir por esos puestos de la Cámara Alta dentro del partido de Gobierno, mientras que en las 118 alcaldías disponibles, 348 solicitaron ser precandidatos en el proceso interno que llevará a cabo esa organización.
En las 183 plazas disponibles para distritos municipales, 402 personas llevaron sus solicitudes para competir en un proceso interno, mientras que en los 137 puestos de diputados que tiene hábil el partido de gobierno, 355 se inscribieron.
En el caso de los regidores y los vocales, donde más personas se inscribieron, con 2,104 personas solicitando ser precandidatos a regidurías y 996 en las vocalías.
